Proud of what we have achieved

Hello,
I want to start today by thanking for all the support you have shown throughout the season. On Sunday the race did not turn out as we would have liked but the truth is that I am proud of how we have fought right to the end, and I am especially grateful to my team , my family, my friends and all of you for having encouraged me race after race.

We had things very clear, we were going to fight for the title until we had no options left at all, and now that there is only one race left my overview of the season is very positive. I am very proud of what the whole team has achieved. We have won six races and we were in with a shout almost to the very end.

It has been a season where, I assure you, I have learnt and improved a lot, both personally and  professionally.
I also want to congratulate Marc and Jorge, champions in Moto2  and MotoGP, they have had a great season, both of them, and they deserve their titles. Now we are going to rest a little after the long journey home, and then we will concentrate on Cheste, because the season has not finished yet.

I want to tackle the final race just like all the previous ones. In Phillip Island we knew that it was going to be complicated but from the very start we really went for it, and in Cheste we will do the same. I hope that I can dedicate the seventh victory of the year to all of you who have supported me from the  first  GP to the last.
